All insulation materials add distortion to the signal, so we place bare copper strip conductors into walled PTFE tubing where only the edge of the strip is in contact with the insulator.

The cable uses a 99% air insulation design to minimize distortion caused by insulating materials. Bare thin copper strip conductors are placed in thin-walled PTFE tubing, with only the edge of the strip touching the insulator, reducing the dielectric influence to about 95% air and 5% PTFE. The copper is Enhanced™ Isolda Deep Cryogenic Treated (EDCT) for superior transparency and neutrality.
 
The DCT 300 is terminated with audiophile-grade locking collet gold-plated RCA phono plugs for single-ended connections or Neutrik XLR connectors for balanced connections.
