Sizing up

  • Know Your Equipment’s Weight: Calculate the total weight of the component you wish to isolate (e.g., turntable, amplifier). Divide by the number of pods (typically 4) to determine the load per pod. For a 40kg amplifier, each pod needs a 10kg rating.

Pods work with turntables, amplifiers, DACs, CD players, and any component with piezoelectric connections, like phono stages, which are sensitive to vibrations. They reduce distortion and noise, ideal for high-fidelity setups.
Calculate the total weight of your component and divide by the number of Pods (typically 4). For a 40kg amplifier, each Pod needs a 10kg rating. For unbalanced or front/back-heavy equipment, use stronger Pods or supplementary Pods (e.g., 5-6 Pods) for heavier areas.
